What data we process

To place an order we need your name, the delivery address, an email address and, if you provide one, a telephone number for delivery queries. Visiting the site also produces technical data: IP address, timestamp, page requested and browser details.

If you create an account: email address, name and an encrypted password. Your orders are linked to the account so that you can find them again.

The wishlist stays in your browser. It is never sent to us and we do not know its contents.

Why we process it

We process this data to perform the contract of sale, ship the goods, meet statutory retention obligations and keep the shop running. No processing for advertising purposes takes place.

Who we pass it to

A payment provider to process payment. An email provider to send the order confirmation. Hosting and database providers to run the shop. A postal or courier service to deliver. Each receives only what its task requires.

Disclosure abroad

Our email is handled by SiteGround in the Netherlands. If you write to us, your message is stored there. Under Annex 1 of the Swiss Data Protection Ordinance the Netherlands is recognised as providing adequate protection, so no additional safeguard is required.

The shop itself, its database and the product images run on Railway in its European region in Amsterdam. Your order and account data are stored there. Annex 1 applies here too, and no additional safeguard is required.

Railway is a company based in the United States and can access these systems to operate and maintain them. For that access we have concluded a data processing agreement with Railway that includes the standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep order data for ten years, as the Code of Obligations requires for business records. Technical logs are deleted after six months at the latest.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we process, to have inaccurate entries corrected, to request deletion, and to receive your data in a common format. Write to the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

You can delete an account yourself at any time; your details are then removed. Orders are not affected: they are business records and subject to the statutory retention period.

Cookies

This shop sets only technically necessary cookies, for example for the cart and the language choice. Without them ordering does not work. No analysis of your behaviour takes place and no data is passed to advertising networks.
